Literature Text

At last I came to love the last,
                And was loved, at last,
          In kind.
                 So much so
                          Was I in love
That it made my minds eyes blind.
So when, at last, I held the last,
In the reaches of my mind,
I may yet have heard the warning cries,
But for that my ears and eyes were blind.
               I went by heart,
                    Which was in love,
It finds what eyes don't find.
Even as my heart so searched,
              It left true love behind.
                            Left so behind,
                            For me to find,
Deep in the reaches of my mind,
Leaving my heart in such a bind!

It seems to love The Last,
                     You must first mend
                              your broken past,

For as a boat with broken mast... a broken heart goes nowhere fast.
I really had fin writing this poem, and it hold great meaning for me, as it outlines a lesson... which I consider to be quite important!
It's not the adventures of your life that matter,
It's the lessons you learn along the way.
