Where have all your smiles gone,
your faith, your heart, your soul?
Where is the light which once shone?
Where did your smile go...
I beg from you, another chance.
I beg you let me go.
I plead, oh please, wake from your trance,
Wake where our love grows.
You slipped into this waking dread,
The sun slipped from my sky
I slipped you into your death bed
but you refused to die
Your skin turned to an ashen gray,
your hair fell from your head,
your chest would slowly rise with breath,
you rose not from the bed.
I know not what you dream about,
I know not that you dream...
I know not if you've fallen asleep,
Or are simply caught in between.
Where have all your smiles gone,
once you shone so bright.
your eyes were like the rising stars
Which guide me through the night.
Now the night is thick as tar,
And we're caught in its blight
I'll find you though, near or far,
.....You'll rise another night.
